11TH CONSECUTIVE SELLOUT FOR THE CNO FINANCIAL INDIANAPOLIS MONUMENTAL MARATHON
INDIANAPOLIS, October 20, 2023 – The CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon – the 13th largest marathon in the United States and the biggest in Indiana – has sold out the full marathon distance for the 11th consecutive year. Organizers of the CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon expect nearly 15,000 registered participants on Saturday, October 28, 2023, for the Monumental Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K distances.
The 2023 CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon Race Weekend will feature participants from all 50 United States and more than 25 countries from around the world. The Monumental Health & Fitness Expo will kick off the weekend on Thursday, October 26, and Friday, October 27, at the Indiana Convention Center, Hall A. The Expo is a chance for participants to pick up their race materials and all attendees will get to check out the 2023 official race merch from Brooks Running, sponsor activations, and 50+ health & wellness vendors.

The CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon and Half Marathon has consistently welcomed Olympians, international athletes, local elites, and countless PR seekers since 2008. The courses are fast, flat, and ideal for first-time half and full marathoners. The 2019 event saw a total of 39 athletes achieve the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Marathon time standard; and expects a similarly deep field for the 2023 event ahead of the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Marathon in February.
A waitlist is now available for the full marathon distance and participants will be accepted as space becomes available. Registration for the half marathon and 5K will remain open online through noon ET on Wednesday, October 25, and will be available on-site at the 2023 Monumental Health & Fitness Expo (October 26-27).
