CITIZENS ENERGY GROUP RETURNS AS SPONSOR OF THE CNO FINANCIAL INDIANAPOLIS MONUMENTAL MARATHON
Providing safe and reliable utility services to the Indianapolis community and proudly supporting Indiana’s largest marathon.
INDIANAPOLIS – Beyond Monumental, the 501(c)3 non-profit responsible for the CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, announced the return of Citizens Energy Group as an official sponsor of the 2024 CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon.
“As we provide critical utility services, we also strive to be supportive of other organizations which are strengthening our community,” said Jennifer Mentink, Manager of Brand and Corporate Engagement for Citizens Energy Group. “Beyond Monumental is leading us toward a healthier, stronger Indianapolis with their premier marathon, half marathon, and 5K events. Our employees look forward to cheering on runners from in front of our offices along Meridian Street!”
This partnership highlights Citizens Energy Group’s commitment to being an active contributor to greater Indianapolis and supporting the communities they serve. In addition to Citizens’ support of the Monumental Marathon, participants and spectators can experience Citizens’ H20 to Go Truck at the 2024 Indianapolis 5K & Monumental Mile race day on June 22. The H20 to Go Truck is Citizens’ Mobile Water Source and serves fresh, safe, and clean water while educating the public about water conservation and sustainability.

The CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon, Half Marathon, & 5K has grown to one of the top 15 largest marathons in the country, and attracts Olympians, Boston Marathon qualifiers, and PR seekers from around the country and internationally. The race takes runners and walkers along Indianapolis’ historic and scenic neighborhoods, past iconic monuments and memorials, and through the heart of downtown including past the Citizens Energy Group – General Office.
